Working closely with the newly launched Cinema Division at their wholly-owned UK-based subsidiary, Opus Arte, Melissa has been instrumental in developing their international distribution network, advising and brokering deals with sub-distributors/cinema chains in North America, Europe, Asia, SE Asia and Australasia.
Opus Arte now has a digital distribution network of over 600 screens worldwide, offering the world's best opera, theatre and ballet, with more projects in the pipeline.
Melissa is currently advising XDC on a variety of projects.
Melissa is an industry commentator and her analyses of the industry are regularly featured by its editor, Nick Dager. Examples of her work can be found here.
Melissa has been working closely with industry expert and regular panellist CJ Flynn on a variety of alternative content and related projects, including an intensive study of Hearing and Visually Impaired facilities in cinemas in Europe and North America.
