International distribution
Further to 10 years in the studio system at Disney and Paramount, Melissa is highly experienced, and since January 2010 has been advising the Royal Opera House with their international distribution strategy and has increased their network of cinemas 3- fold in the last 12 months.

Guiding a team of 4 through the stormy waters of dual-inventory as 35mm gave way to digital at Paramount Pictures, Melissa has extensive experience in delivering material for day-and-date release dates worldwide, tight budgets, dealing with Level 1 security on AAA blockbusters.
Alternative content specialist
Seeing the opportunities arising as a result of digital deployment, Melissa has had the unique opportunity of working with some of the most cutting-edge companies in alternative content from content providers, distributors and 3D eyewear companies. She has attained a unique industry perspective as a result.
Industry and business analysis
Several clients have been provided with SWOT analysis, market overviews, management consultancy, feasibility studies and 5 and 10 year projections, which have led to new alternative content divisions being created, for example.
Business development
Melissa's extensive contact base internationally has enabled clients to broaden their distribution network. The Royal Opera House is now appearing in over 600 cinemas from less than 200 a year ago. She has contacts in both cinema chains and with local distributors in key European territories as well as emerging markets, Russia, Australasia, North and South America.
Project Management
Melissa's experience in international film distribution makes her an ideal project manager. She is familiar with timelines, budget requirements, security issues, logistics, post-production, censorship, live transmission, DCP/KDM management and has the requisite contacts and interpersonal skills necessary to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Foreign language versioning, localisation
Melissa's background at Disney and Paramount across various lines of business ensure she is fully aware of the dubbing processes, from casting, dubbing reference material and recording through to the final mix. She is also familiar with the processes for localisation of titles, for 35mm and digital.
Technical QC across multiple formats
Disney provided Melissa with exceptional training in 35mm QC and later, digital. She is technically proficient across all sound formats and familiar with 3D technology and the leading providers of eyewear.
